The intensive Spanish course is the general intensive 20 Spanish language course where you have 4 lessons per day, Monday to Friday, getting your Spanish language level up to the recommended level of minimum B1-B2 before starting the classes that help you to prepare for the University entry exam.

Access and Study in a Spanish University.

Let us know your nationality, your education track record, your plans and which degree or master you want to study in Spain. You will get the information on how to proceed and which document you should start preparing for your enrolment in a Spanish University.

Duration: up to 4 weeks (Remember you should start this process as soon as possible)

START THE TRANSFER OF ACADEMIC RECORD AND VISA APPLICATION

 to your nationality and the degree you wish to study in Spain. Then, it will be time to start your Pathway Programme, face-to-face in Spain or online from home.  Check the Pathway Programme options according to your plans and your level of Spanish: Blended ( 12 months, partly from home), Fast-track, 6 to 8 months or Regular, 12 months

Please note: In order to ensure the accreditation process and all other procedures are solved in due time, it is highly recommended that we start the formalities at least six months before the starting date of your Pathway Programme.  Also note that NOT all students needs to prepare the EBAU examination. This depends on your nationalities, the degree you are aiming at and whether you choose a Private or Public University

General Questions

How to apply for university in Spain?

You don’t need to decide on which university to study at before you enroll on a Spanish University Pathway Program. Once you have started the Pathway Program, you can continue to research the different universities and courses available from within Spain. Our academic advisors will help you make a decision based on your study goals/interests, grades and city preferences and Budget

Access for non-Europeans

As for non European countries we have visa support in order to apply for a student visa in Spain for our Pathway program just consult our advisors from Clic and they will give you all the information needed in order to apply for a Pathway program in our schools.

Access for European Union students

As per the access to Spanish university for foreigners, the rules vary according to the country of origin of the student. Students from any European Union country can access a Spanish university once the national high school final diploma (Abitur, for example in Germany or Baccalauréat in France, Esame di maturità in Italy, etc.) is officially translated. In such case, you will not be required to prepare the EBAU examination unless you wish to enter some specific degrees which require a higher mark such as Medecine, for example. (see hereunder)

Spanish level to enter a Spanish university

Although some Spanish universities offer content in English, especially in the field of financing, management and marketing, foreign students are expected to have a minimum B2 level. Knowledge of Spanish will be particularly paramount for the EBAU preparation and in some fields such as human sciences.

Extra exam for some degress and universities: EBAU preparation

For some degrees such as Medicine or Architecture or Business, foreign students will have to prepare a minimum of 2 extras exams to increase their average mark. Spanish universities establish every year what is called “nota de corte”, which means that candidates must reach a minimum mark to access. Some degrees may require students to have a mark of 7 or more points. To be able to reach this mark, students will be required to prepare for 2 extra subjects depending on their choice. Someone who want to access Medicine will probably have to go through a Science and a Maths exam to increase the average mark. These 2 additional exams allow you to increase the mark up to 4 points.

EBAU exams: when, where and how to prepare the exams

EBAU preparation course is an important part of your course. As mentioned before, depending on your nationality, your previous marks and the degree you wish to study in a Spanish University, you will have to prepare up to 6 extra subjects related. Since this preparation course is delivered in Spanish, you will start once you reach a minimum B1 of Spanish. The maximum duration of this course is 8 months with around 15 hours of extra classes per week in addition to your Spanish course. To ensure the quality of this course and your success, we partner with specialised EBAU preparation schools with a long track record with both Spanish and foreign students.
